Moneyless – Venezuelan, Caracas

The bolívar is the name of the currency of Venezuela. It is named after one of the heroes who liberated the country from Spanish colonialism. The Bolívar—now a symbol of collapse, dying day after day under relentless hyperinflation.

This is a flag made of banknotes. In Venezuela, money is worth so little that it is cheaper to turn it into a flag than to buy one.
